KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — Malaysian Press Institute (MPI) CEO Datuk Chamil Wariya pointed out that a total of 386 entries were received for the 2022 MPI-PETRONAS Malaysian Journalism Awards, competing for awards in 17 categories with a total prize money of RM300,000.
The Malaysia Journalism Night 2023, organised by MPI and sponsored by Petronas, will be held on June 9 at the Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur to announce the winners of the awards.
DRB-HICOM Berhad is the largest sponsor of the 2023 Malaysia Journalism Night with RM40,000, while Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad (EXIM Bank), Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) are sponsoring RM20,000 each. – Sin Chew Daily
