In conjunction with the World Elephant Day (WED) celebration, which falls on 12 August every year, the National Elephant Conservation Centre (NECC) together with Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) Malaysia organised ‘Sambutan Hari Gajah Sedunia’ on 7 September 2019 (Saturday) from 8.00am till 5.00pm at NECC, Kuala Gandah, Pahang.
 
The event was officiated by YB Dr. Xavier Jayakumar, Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources and attended by EXIM Bank’s Chairman, Dato’ Feizal Mustapha along with few other participating sponsors.
 
As part of our continuous environmental CSR initiative, EXIM Bank presented a mock cheque during the event to symbolise our contribution and on-going commitment towards the upkeep and care of our adopted handicapped baby Elly.
