“The 12 Steps to Successful Exporting®” came about through sheer necessity and as an effective and practical tool to delegate work to the author’s staff, while he was away on work.
The “12 Steps” can be used both locally and globally. All the key export activities are covered. It is arranged sequentially and is representative of how a typical export process would take place. The first part (Steps 1 to 10) relates to Pre-Order and the second part (Steps 11 to 12) deals with Post-Order activities.
For aspiring exporters and those who are just starting up, all the steps will usually be applicable. However, for existing and experienced exporters, using the “12 Steps” will help upskill and enhance their current level of success.
